Kambo

Kambo is a traditional medicine from the Amazon jungle, sourced from the secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor frog. It has been used for generations by Indigenous tribes for its powerful ability to revitalize the body, mind and spirit.

Kambo is known for its cleansing and strengthening effects, not only boosting the immune system, but also offering distinct psycho-spiritual benefits. Many tribes describe panema, an Arawak term used by the Ashaninka and others, as the dense, stagnant, negative energy that builds up over time. Kambo is traditionally used to clear panema and restore a sense of clarity, vitality and direction.

While most people associate Kambo with physical purging, often through vomiting, the release may also show up emotionally, mentally, or energetically. The purge itself can feel like an expulsion of:
